About POD

Our Mission

At POD,

Our Mission is to change the environmental impact of data, by creating a complete recycle, upcycle process for data centers across wastewater for cooling, hydrogen for energy and critical minerals for CPU's.

Our vision: is to rethink resource management and establish sustainable green data center solutions to meet the demands of AI and our digital future.

    The Problem

    Data Is Dirty

The rise of AI will shine a light on the resource hungry nature of data. Tech companies and cities are on a collision course to compete for key infrastructure, with water, energy and critical metals all in short supply.

Why we need Green Data Centers

    Energy

    Critical Metals

    Critical Metals

Bain & Co. forecasts that U.S. energy demand could outstrip supply in just a few short years. By 2028, utilities will need to increase annual electricity generation by up to 26% to keep pace with projected demand.

    Critical Metals

McKinsey says global demand for data centers capacity could more than triple by 2030. Even if all currently known plans are delivered on time, there could still be a data center supply deficit of more than 15 GW in the United States alone by 2030.

    Water

    Critical Metals

    Water

Meta data centers in Altoona can use up to a million gallons of water a day, one fifth of what the city can produce on its own. On average, a Google data center consumes 450,000 gallons of water a day. Water is shaping as even more of a critical element to AI data requirements than energy.

    POD Solution

    Recycling CPU's

    Wastewater for Cooling

    Wastewater for Cooling

The need for the fastest and most efficient CPU’s will ensure that POD is always at the front of computing power. To ensure that this isn’t a drain on important critical metals such as gold, silver and other rare earths, POD’s CPU’s are recycled and upcycled into the next generation of CPU.

    Wastewater for Cooling

    Wastewater for Cooling

    Wastewater for Cooling

Wastewater is the solution to the water requirements of Data Centers. POD Data Centers are not only using Wastewater they are contributing to cleaning Millions of Gallons of dirty water a day that currently gets pumped into our rivers, lakes and oceans. The more data, the more water POD cleans!

    Green Hydrogen Energy

    Wastewater for Cooling

    Green Hydrogen Energy

Hydrogen is the cleanest of energy sources in the world, with its only by-product being, water. As POD is making this hydrogen from dirty wastewater sources, the more energy that’s required means the more wastewater POD
    is cleaning.

POD Data Center - Your Solution for a Green Data Future

POD Real Estate Invesment Trusts (REIT)

High Yielding Green Data Centers, driving increased asset values, year on year.

We are creating a new Green future for AI and bitcoin mining that will allow data and crypto mining to be part of the GET economy.

We have sustainable advantages over other DC’s, notably:

    - Cleaning wastewater is our cheap energy source,

    - Our CPU’s are recycled and upcycled to provide best in class computing power every time,

    - Gov’t & Cities can’t afford not to adopt POD REIT’s

    Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@potentialofdata.cc if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The world generates 359 billion cubic metres of wastewater each year, only half is treated. The rest is poured into our rivers, lakes and oceans, polluting the most important resource we have, our oceans.

Untreated ammonia is toxic to aquatic life, destroying water ways and creating greenhouse gases 300xworse than CO2. This means that the more data needed for AI and our digital future, then more wastewater we can clean. Green Data is the pathway to a clean water future for every town and city.

Our solution doesn't use the H2 in H2O, it creates the hydrogen from the impurities in the wastewater, namely ammonia, which uses a lot less energy to recover and creates a clean water source as a by-product. The good news is that the more energy required means the more wastewater we clean, saving our lakes, rivers and oceans with every liter cleaned.

There is 300 x more gold in a ton of e-waste than there is in a ton of ore. As critical minerals like cobalt, silver, gold and other rare earths become more scares, we need to think about how we secure our digital future by recycling these precious metals in every town and city around the world.

POD works with municipalities, tech companies and big providers of data centers to create a framework of technology deployment, housed in a REIT to ensure all stakeholders, including mother earth, have a transparent platform to grow their data needs. The Potential of Data is now clean and green.

The use of the .cc is the domain identifier of the Cocos Islands which are situated in the Indian Ocean and under administration of Australia. POD also uses the .cc to stands for Carbon Credits/Commitment and would like to see other companies do that same as a reference point to remind us “Why”: Islands like the Cocos that are most under threat from global warming so there is a great call to action on the island nations.
